Becky tagged me...

Since I have been reading links to my friends blogs, I knew all about being tagged. So here goes...list 7 random or wired things about myself:
1-I'm no longer very domestic. The kids are all grown up and on their own. I don't like to cook and only have a kitchen because it came with the house. I don't use it much. Housekeeping is overrated. Who will know or care in 100 years if the house was neat and tidy.

2-I don't like to fly. I guess I'd just as soon stay home in my (messy) house.

3-Cats are my favorite people.

4-I love driving down a road I've never been on before-no maps allowed. I wonder where this will come out?

5-I can kill a plant faster than almost anyone!

6-When I'm not in my sewing room (or at work), I love to read. "who dunits" is my favorite genre.

7-I love warm weather. I'd love to live near the ocean so I could take long walks on the beach. Caribbean blue, warm water and tropical breezes-no hurricanes

Now I have a real problem because Becky has already linked to a lot of the people I would tag. But here goes: how about Cindi, Kathy, Louise, Kathy, (this is scary)Laurie, Renee, can't think of anyone else-how sad!

crap Mom! I don't know 7 bloggers! This isn't fair! So instead, I'll just comment on yours.

1. I can't remember basic things but I can sing whole songs from childhood including one I learned in 4th grade (but then again, so can Matthew), Pierre, and the birthday song 'hey Karin - it's your birthday - I'm in charge of the stars and I'm hear to say...'

2. I don't like staying in one place too long. I start to feel trapped. I can't believe I've lived in ATL for so long, I think my excursions are what has saved me.

3. I absolutely love it when my dog spoons with me. Not in a perverse sort of way, but in a cuddly way. I like feeling her furry body next to mine. (I can't make this sound non-dirty, but I swear it's not!)

4. When I dream, often-times it still takes place on the street we grew up in in New York. I don't really dream in Atlanta. I'm older, but the house is still the same.

5. I'm very competitive. I have no idea why, because I'm not particularly good at any one thing, but I still try.

6. At some point in my life, I'd like to drive across country in my convertible. To me, that just sounds like freedom.

7. I love teen angst movies. I realize that I am upwards of 30, but I still love that stupid teen angst stuff. And I don't care who knows it! :)

I would say Crap, mom, but your not my mom, just my best friend. I don't have a clue what I am doing here. Also, since I don't know seven bloggers either- only one other and she's a nun- I will also reply to yours.(Thanks Laurie) Here are my magnificent seven.
1. I love to iron.
2. I miss my mother even though she drove me nuts. I wish I had asked more questions and paid more attention to the answers she gave.
3.I love to drive- anywhere except NYC.
4. I like to travel alone and talks to strangers. Itmakes me feel very grown up.
5.I have too many half read books in my life.
6. I love e-mail. I can express myself better than when I am talking on the phone.
7. I am envious of all my creative and talented friends. I wish I had the patience and tlaent to do what they do. But...I do love to cook and bake, and feed them!
