Happy 2009..

I seem to be starting out this year as I ended the last. Up at dark thirty or this morning 4AM. I seem to be all slept out, so I might as well get up. This is really becoming a drag. Since there is an upcoming MD visit, i thinkn it is time to discuss it with her. But in the meantime....
It was cold last evening and so I cozied up under one or two of my quilts on the couch and watched some mindless TV. Add a cat for comfort (Henry) and we were soon asleep. I woke up before midnight and moved into the bed. I don't think I was awake for the descent of the ball, at least as this point my memory fails me!

So onto resolutions....I REALLY should consider this year.
The first one-to complete some of the projects I have started in the past few year. I did a soso job in 2008 on this one by completing a lot of quitls but probably more of them were new ones than old. Sooo this year, for every 2 new quilts (more realisitic), I will finish one of the old ones.

I also need to get control of the sewing room. It is BAD-the floor seems to be shrinking!

I am looking forward to a fun year with all of the Thimbles AND I also have the workshop in Florida coming up the end of January. The info came yesterday. And this time I intend to go to the workshop and not blow off the class like I did on the cruise
Happy New Year!!

My goal is also to sew more of my old projects. I'm thinking I need to finish 2 for every new one that I start. I'm aiming on 12 finishes for the year. I made a list of my projects last Summer. I probably should look at it and update it.

Happy New Year to you and yours!
