Looking to break the record?

Springtime in the ATL means pollen. Today's pollen count is 2967. The record was 3583 achieved (?) on 4/6/09.
According to the allergy gurus the culprits at this point are oak, birch, sweet gum, maple and willow. The pine pollen will be soon in full swing. This particular type of pollen lasts until mid May. Then we get hickory, pecan and grass pollens thru June. (I thought Gretchen would really like all of this information. She will emerge from her house in time for fourth of July.)

I have lived in TN and NC, where there is plenty of pollen, but I never had allergies until I moved to GA.
