At any rate, I have been working like a slave it seems like forever. No time or energy to do any sewing, even though it keeps calling me. I have been making very slow progress on the quilt started up in Ellijay. Tonight I put one side of the border on it. I did not realize just how big this puppy is. It is really going to be a dazzler when it is quilted! I don't yet have a back for it.
As for the other project started up in Ellijay, it remains someplace boxed up. I did manage to get all my stuff back into the sewing room. Now the kitchen only has boxes of GS cookies piled up on the table.
I also need to get back to Dark and Creepy...I know where that project is.... oops that's on a chair in the kitchen along with Orca Bay.. also requiring a backing.

Forgot the camera. so no pictures. Gretch at Stella Bella has a couple and I am sure Silver Thimble queen will post some when she recovers.
We had so much fun. I went up Wednesday with Cindi to help Pat with set up. It is so beautiful up there. We almost escaped snow this year (the last 2 years we have had to deal with snow). Some flurries on Saturday but just windy and very cold. Who cares, we was sewin'!
My first project I messed up and will have to redesign it in the near future-before I forget. I spent the rest of the time working on my Battle Hymn project-12 gazillion 9 patch blocks. I still have more cutting to do but made progress on it.
So sad to have to come home today. Too many laughs. and such fun
More later-need to unload the car

I am on vacation this week. Oh happy day!! A week away from the home is a good thing. I should be getting ready for the trip to Ellijay later this week. Cindi has all of her stuff prepped and ready to go. I keep vacillating on what I am going to take. In the meantime, I am just vegging! Definitely going blueberry crumb to be done with a Moda Bake Shop pattern. Also working on a pattern I found in a magazine and using Battle Hymn fabric. Don't really care what I work on because just being there with fun people is enough.
I am having a hard time getting onto the blog these days. I hate that I have to fool around for at least five minutes every time I try.
